MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING 

OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES 

held on July 9, 2025

 Mayor Ceriello led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance. 

 

A Motion to open the public meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller, and called to order at 7:34 pm and approved by all.

 

MINUTES 

A motion to approve the minutes for June 11, 2025, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller, and approved by all. 

MAYOR’S REPORT

The Mayor announced the Village is in the initial phase of general repair to the municipal garage including constructing a new salt storage facility.   Additionally, National Grid will be working on a gas main replacement project on the south side of Hunt Lane.  After installation, the Mayor will meet with National Grid to review the restoration of the landscaping and any concrete panels that were affected or in need of attention.   Last, the Board will be reviewing the Village’s sign ordinance to ensure proper regulation while securing citizen’s rights.   

VILLAGE REPORTS 

JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for June 2025 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $1078.00

BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2025, to July 7, 2025, a total of 15 permits has been issued totaling $11,897.00 in Building Permit Fees.

POLICE REPORT: The Police Report incident May 2025 notes no Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, (1) one Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 21 summonses (14 Movers and 7 Parkers).

 The motion to close the Board of Trustees public meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved at 8:55 pm.
