The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m

 

MINUTES for the meeting of June 8, 2011 were approved as corrected.

 

CLAIMS for July were presented, as detailed in the Abstract of Vouchers in the amount of $86,989.96.  After review, the Board approved all for payment.

 

JUSTICE REPORT for June, 2011 was submitted and stated revenues in the amount of $8,730.00.

 

POLICE REPORT for June, 2011 was distributed to the Board. During the month of June, the following activity was noted:

 

Auto Accidents 8

Aided Cases 6

Burglary 0

Robbery 0

Larceny 0

Summonses VTL 35 PRKG   14

 

FENCE APPLICATION

Mr.& Mrs. Racioppo , 102 Borglum Road, are requesting a gate and fence along the left side of their house to keep their children on their property and not run into the neighbors driveway.  All unanimously approved the fence and gate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

LOCAL LAW #1 – 2011

Local law #1 - 2011 Section 200-44 of the Village Code is hereby repealed and re-titled and re-enacted as follows:  Section 200-44 “Tool Sheds, Storage Sheds, and Small Accessory Buildings” in the Village of Munsey Park.  After review, the hearing was closed on a motion made by Mayor Harry Nicolaides, seconded by Jacqueline Pierangelo and unanimously carries.  Mayor Harry Nicolaides made the motion to adopt Local Law #1 – 2011, which was seconded by Trustee Jacqueline Pierangelo and confirmed by Trustee Sheila Brennan.  Trustee Peter Puttre was a “No”.  (A copy of the local law will be annexed to these minutes.)

 

 

AT & T CELL TOWER

Lawrence Re, from the law firm Re, Nielsen, Huber & Coughlin, LLP, addressed the Mayor & Board of Trustees that AT & T would like to modify its existing public utility wireless telecommunications facility located at 1845 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, New York.  At & T would like to remove three (3) of the antennas and add six (6) vertical antennas, which would take up less space.  After discussion, a motion was made that the change will not result in any significant adverse environmental impact under SEQRA and that a negative declaration under SEQRA be adopted made by Trustee Sheila Brennan, seconded by Mayor Harry Nicolaides and unanimously carried.  Motion made by Mayor Harry Nicolaides, seconded by Trustee Sheila Brennan to approve the proposed modification and upgrade to the Facility and that it will meet the purposes of Section 200-46 and is consistent with the conditions set forth in the Conditional Use Permit and unanimously carried.

 

 

There being no further business, the meeting was declared adjourned at 8:45p.m.
