MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
January 12, 2011

The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m
MINUTES for the meeting of December 8, 2010 were approved as corrected.
CLAIMS for December/ January were presented, as detailed in the Abstract of Vouchers in the amount of $85,402.45. After review, the Board approved all for payment.
JUSTICE REPORT for December, 2010 was submitted and stated revenues in the amount of $7,470.00.
POLICE REPORT for December, 2010 was distributed to the Board. During the month of December, the following activity was noted:

RETAINING WALL – 180 REMINGTON ROAD
Architect, T. J. Costello, for the applicants Mr. & Mrs. Michael Ryan, presented an application to re-grade side-yard with a new retaining wall. After review, the Mayor and Board of Trustees approved the retaining wall providing that the following items be completed:
1. T.J. Costello must add top & bottom elevations
2. The Village Building Inspector must be satisfied and the Architectural Review Board (ARB) must also approve.
3. Homeowner’s contractor must follow the architects drawing - with no run-off.
MEADOW CARTING CONTRACT
The Village Clerk reminded the Board that the carting contract expires in May, 2011. Also do to a recent complaint concerning the recycling of the Village garbage, the Mayor requested that Meadow Carting send to the Village Clerk a detailed letter in how the recycling is done. This way if further complaints are received, the Village Clerk and send the resident a copy of Meadow Carting’s letter on recycling.
COURT AUDIT
The 2010 court audit has been completed by Lund & Company. The only comment from the audit was that another individual either than the court clerk should be handling the tickets when received by the police department. It was agreed that the Village Clerk will receive and enter the ticket numbers and date received in her excel program.
ELECTION INSPECTORS
On a motion made by Deputy Mayor Albert T. Jaronczyk, seconded by Mayor Harry Nicolaides and approved by all, Mr. & Mrs. William D’Antonio will be the election inspectors for the March 15, 2011 Village Election. Petitions are also due from February 1, 2011 to February 8, 2011.
NEW TRUCK BIDS
Due to some specifications missing in the original bid, the Village Attorney requested that the Board reject the two bids and re-bid according to new specifications.
There being no further business, the meeting was declared adjourned at 8:15p.m.
