The Mayor called the meeting to order at 8:00 PM.

2007 ROAD IMPROVEMENTS

Prior to the meeting, Ken Pritchard, village engineer from Dvirka Bartilucci, and Mayor Nicolaides did a walk through the Village to check each of the streets involved in the road project to ascertain where the contractor should end.  They noticed that parts of Eakins Road were in bad condition but this road was not on the list of scheduled street repair projects.  The Mayor asked the Board to go out and visit the site.  Deputy Mayor Jaronczyk suggested they break and go visit the site.

It was moved by Mayor Nicolaides and seconded by Deputy Mayor Jaronczyk, with the absence of Trustee Puttré and Trustee Phillips, that the Board adjourn the meeting to do a street tour.

In favor:        Mayor Nicolaides

                      Deputy Mayor Jaronczyk

                      Trustee Brennan

The Mayor declared the motion approved.

The Board returned after twenty minutes.  They reviewed Eakins Road and determined it should be revisited.  Mr. Pritchard will update the map of the roads to be repaired,  with all the changes.

The road work should begin Monday, June 18, if weather permits.  The contractor will be getting his letter out to the homeowners by Friday.  The Village will be sending its letters out Thursday.   There will be daily updates on the progress.  If weather permits, the bulk of the work will be finished before school starts at the end of August. The balance of the work  should  be done in September.

MINUTES for the meeting of May 9, 2007, and the Special Meeting on May 26, 2007, were approved as submitted.

CLAIMS for June 2007 were presented by the Clerk/Treasurer.  Disbursements as detailed in Abstract of Vouchers in the amount of $165,107.14 were approved for payments. The Clerk mentioned the high amount in payments this month was due to claims for $80,474  paid to Dvirka & Bartilucci, $28, 089 paid to  Meadow Carting, and two months of medical bills totaling $11,879.

JUSTICE REPORT for June 2007 was submitted by the Clerk and stated revenues in the amount of $8,460, of which $1,510 was for parking.
